A leading company is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop market understanding and build relationships in the renewable sector. The successful candidate will manage key accounts, deliver technical presentations, and negotiate contracts while traveling frequently within the region.

Formación

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sales Engineer.
  • Experience managing key accounts and selling electrical products.
  • Proficiency in English required.

Key tasks of the job:

  1. Prepare and meet Sales Forecast and Key Metrics.
  2. Develop an understanding of the market position of customers, their products, points of difference, and the competitive landscape.
  3. Identify and develop all actors involved in renewable projects: owners, investors, developers, regulators, contractors.
  4. Generate demand by identifying opportunities within the assigned territory through TE products, trainings, technical presentations, and seminars.
  5. Establish and build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.
  6. Prepare commercial bids/tenders, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize profits. Collaborate with BDMs, PMs, Product Specialists, and Application Engineers to define technical solutions according to customer and product specifications.
  7. Follow up on contracts and purchase orders in coordination with Customer Care, Operations, and Finance teams.
Qualifications & Specialist Training Required
  • Degree: Electrical Engineering with BA/BS in Sales/Marketing Management.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Skills: Ability to deliver technical and sales presentations, excellent communication skills, sales acumen. Capable of specifying products and discussing technical applications with customers.
  • Potential for growth within the organization.
Experience Required

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Sales Engineer, managing key accounts, selling electrical products through distribution channels, electrical contractors, and maintaining relationships with renewable market contractors.

Skills & Aptitudes
  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or Engineer.
  • Experience with Salesforce software.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (listening, speaking, writing).
  • Friendly demeanor, persuasive ability, assertiveness.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Industry and product knowledge.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Personable, proactive, and active.
  • Desire to work in a growth-oriented environment.
Additional Information

The successful candidate will need to travel extensively within the region, potentially up to 50% of the time.
