About The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the Mexico media agency landscape and a proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within these agencies. A deep understanding of the (online) Media/Advertising ecosystem is a must. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering on sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Development

  • Develop and execute customer-specific business plans focused on sales growth, profitability, and brand positioning.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (sell-in, sell-out, sell-through, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and sales performance) to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Drive revenue growth while ensuring healthy inventory levels and product availability.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and business reviews to support commercial decision-making.
  • Maintain a structured, organized, and results-driven approach to account management.

Account Management

  • Manage the day-to-day commercial relationship with assigned customers.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, product assortment, replenishment, and execution with internal teams.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, promotional activities, product launches, merchandising initiatives, and in-store activations.
  • Conduct regular customer and store visits to evaluate product availability, visual execution, and identify business opportunities.
  • Take full ownership of sales performance, forecasting, and KPI tracking for assigned accounts.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations, including Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Present business reviews, sales performance reports, and strategic recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely follow-up and proactive support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Align internal teams around customer priorities and business objectives.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Economics, or a related field.

Professional Experience

  • 3 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial roles.
  • Experience managing retail, wholesale, department store, sporting goods, specialty, marketplace, or distributor accounts is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience developing commercial strategies, managing customer relationships, and delivering sales growth.
  • Experience within the apparel, fashion, sportswear, footwear, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Dashboards, Data Analysis).
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Commercial Management & Negotiation

  • Sales Plan Execution: Negotiate and secure purchase orders (POs) for launches, core products, and seasonal sets to achieve annual turnover targets.
  • Launch Management: Present Brands novelties to department store buyers, ensuring initial stock placement.
  • Quota Negotiation: Manage purchase budgets (S&S - Stocks & Sales) with business partners, seeking to maximize implementation.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Analysis

  • Inventory Monitoring: Analyze stock levels weekly to propose replenishment orders and prevent Out of Stocks (OOS).
  • Portal & Catalog Administration: Maintain up-to-date product information, pricing, and listings in the vendor portals of each department store.
  • Assortment Optimization: Evaluate product turnover and manage returns or stock transfers to ensure a healthy and profitable product portfolio.

PROFILE

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or commercial account management, preferably in the beauty and/or cosmetics industry. Previous experience negotiating with Department Store buyers (e.g., Liverpool, Palacio de Hierro, Sephora, etc.) is essential.
  • Language skills: English B2-Advanced (ability to participate in international meetings and draft reports). Native or fluent Spanish.
