Position: Data Lake & Business Intelligence Consultant

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Ensure seamless data integration, transformation, and availability across the Data Lake.
• Write and maintain advanced SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Use Python to automate data workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Apply best practices to ensure data quality, security, and governance.
• Work with Delta Lake to manage large-scale data storage and versioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deploy and manage data solutions in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI and data architecture strategies.

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years of experience working with data platforms, business intelligence, and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake for building and managing scalable data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Azure services, including Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience developing and orchestrating data workflows using Data Factories and Notebooks.
• Knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query and dashboard development with connections to various data sources.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in ensuring data quality and reliability.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
