Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Mexico is seeking a production supervisor to ensure adherence to production plans, maximize line outputs, and maintain efficiency while following internal work instructions, safety rules, and applicable regulations (EHS).

You will plan and contribute to the unit's budget, allocate resources, monitor costs, and supervise front-end manufacturing tasks, including wafer/component preparation, basic machine setup, and coordination with maintenance to address issues.

Formación

• Experience leading production lines in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety rules and EHS regulations.
• Ability to read production plans and budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare wafers, components or semi-products and monitor stock.
• Process components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance for issues; report any failure.
• Execute front-end manufacturing tasks per procedures.

Ensuring compliance with production plans and production line outputs and keeping production assigned overall efficient. Adhering or ensuring adherence to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS). Planning or contributing to unit's budget, allocating resources and keeping manufacturing cost as planned. Executing, supervising or managing manufacturing front-end processes a assigned, according to specified procedures, e.g.:

• Preparation of wafers, components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
• Processing components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic machine-related setup and/or CNC / SPS-programming, if required. Cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues. A job at this level… Executes task(s), as ordered or explained. Reports any failure or dysfunctionality to responsible employees or supervisor. Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.
