This position is responsible for the organizational level maintenance, repairs, and services of dining facility equipment, including but not limited to ovens, automated dishwasher machines, refrigeration units, tilt pans, steam kettles, and juice machines. The role requires exhibiting superior workmanship and focusing on delivering a quality end product.

• Supervise appliance technicians in their daily tasks.
• Assign work to junior technicians and assist them as needed.
• Monitor workload to ensure compliance with PWS.
• Maintain, service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various appliances according to operational manuals.
• Reassemble units after repairs, make adjustments, and lubricate parts as needed.
• Replace defective parts such as switches, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, circuit boards, or wiring.
• Operate and inspect machines to diagnose malfunctions.
• Examine parts for wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Maintain accountability of tools and equipment.
• Conduct tests and inspect equipment to evaluate performance.
• Report faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences.
• Ensure compliance with PWS and applicable policies.
• Install and remove appliances as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training in commercial appliance repair preferred.
• Six (6) years of experience in commercial appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain a Military or Kuwait Driver’s License.

• Work outdoors with exposure to extreme conditions, dust storms, and high temperatures up to 130°F.
• Potential exposure to chemicals or biological agents; PPE required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs continuously and 50 lbs intermittently.
• Work overhead for extended periods.
• Observe safety and health requirements.
• Maintain professional appearance per local customs.
