Mashreq in Kuwait seeks an attentive Cash Counter Associate to handle transactions with accuracy and speed, ensuring customer satisfaction and strict cash controls.

The role requires vigilant handling of cash, minimal wait times, and adherence to procedures. You will work under pressure, communicate effectively, and contribute to risk-free counter operations with 1–3 years cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Process all counter transactions accurately and swiftly in accordance with laid down procedures.
• Strive towards reducing wait time and service time by efficient processing of all transactions.
• Strive towards managing customer expectation for each interaction.
• Ensure zero risk of cash differences by diligently processing all cash transactions and ensuring accurate delivery of cash.
• Be vigilant on possible frauds and risks.
• Provide feedback and seek guidance and approval from direct supervisor on irregular or suspicious transactions.
• Ensure cash shortages and excesses at counter and ATM are zero.
• Investigate discrepancies in balancing and reconciliation by following standard procedures.

• Process all counter transactions accurately and swiftly in accordance with the laid down procedures.
• Strive towards reducing wait time and serve time by efficient processing of all transactions.
• Strive towards managing customer expectation for each interaction.
• Ensure zero risk of cash differences by diligently, accurately and attentively processing all cash transactions as well as ensuring accurate delivery of cash to customers at all times.
• Be vigilant and alert on any possible frauds ad risks.
• Provide continuous feedback and seek guidance and assistance and approval from direct supervisor on any irregular / or suspicious transaction.
• Ensure cash shortages and excesses both at counter and ATM are at zero.
• Investigate thoroughly any differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other security items by following the standard process of checking / scrutiny / investigation.
• Adhere to all policies and processes to ensure an acceptable risk rating of the counter area by Audit.
