Job summary

Want More in Al-Kuwait is seeking a Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle cash, cards, and checks, maintain accurate daily totals, and provide friendly service to every customer.

You will greet customers, answer questions about stock and pricing, monitor inventory, and follow security procedures while ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

A high school diploma is required; one year of cashier experience preferred, and knowledge of basic bookkeeping helps you excel.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Cashier or similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to calculate correctly without an aid of calculator or similar device.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and check payments from customers
• Balance the daily transactions to ensure accuracy
• Sort, file, and count money at the end of each shift
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Greet customers when they arrive and thank them when they leave
• Answer questions about items in stock or pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and order more when necessary
• Follow all security measures when handling payments
