Job summary

A Team Leader – VM – Mamas & Papas is sought in Kuwait City to drive excellent customer service by leading the department team and ensuring stock control and merchandising standards. This role emphasizes coaching, stock vigilance, and proactive customer interactions to achieve department targets.

Report lines include store manager and training department for inductions and policy adherence. Open to candidates with 2–3 years in sales or customer service and a high school or O Levels qualification.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a Sales or Customer Service environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to train and coach team members to deliver great customer service

Responsibilities

• Ensure Retail / Brand standards are maintained at all times
• Role model and support role to team members
• Support the induction of new starters into the store
• Maintain and encourage grooming standards as advised by the store manager
• Provide excellent customer service and coach the sales team on the shop floor
• Resolve customer complaints effectively or escalate to the store manager
• Identify customer needs, recommend and demonstrate products, and close sales
• Ensure staff are trained on all department aspects with the store manager
• Monitor stock levels and inform the store manager to replenish stock
• Minimize stock loss through vigilance and proper stock handling
• Adhere to company policies including refund and exchange policies
