Job summary

HRInvest is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, strategy and capital allocation in Kuwait. You will partner with the CEO and Board on performance, governance and long-term priorities while guiding regulatory reporting and investor communications.

You will build a high-impact finance team, strengthen internal controls and optimize liquidity and capital management. The role requires deep market knowledge and executive collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related; professional qualification CFA/CPA/ACCA/CA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years finance experience, including 3–5 years in an executive or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Experience as CFO/Deputy CFO/VP Finance in regulated financial services, fintech or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait CMA regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience building and leading finance teams in a growing business.
• Experience presenting to boards, investors and regulators.
• Arabic and English proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's financial strategy, planning, budgeting and capital allocation to support business growth.
• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic decisions, financial performance and long-term priorities.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with Kuwait CMA requirements.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, reconciliations and financial operations.
• Strengthen internal controls and manage liquidity, currency, credit and operational financial risks.
• Lead financial reporting to investors and support fundraising, due diligence and potential transactions.
• Build and develop the finance team, ensuring the function supports the company's evolving needs.
• Improve financial systems and reporting capabilities to provide accurate, timely insights.
• Collaborate with Technology and Operations on financial processes, settlement activities and new market initiatives.
• Manage relationships with regulators, external auditors and financial advisors.
