Job summary

Egis Group in Kuwait seeks a detail-oriented Utility Engineer to design, install, and manage electrical, water, HVAC, and other utility systems for port and terminal facilities.

The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of experience in complex utility environments, with strong SCADA and AutoCAD skills, and a proven track record of improving reliability and efficiency. This role requires on-site work in Kuwait and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in utility systems management or engineering in port/terminal/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, water, HVAC and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with SCADA, CMMS and industrial control systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design/documentation tools.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain electrical, water, HVAC and other utility systems.
• Inspect utility infrastructure and identify improvements.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot failures and coordinate timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor performance using SCADA and other technologies.
• Prepare technical reports and upgrade recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations, safety and management teams.
• Analyze consumption data for cost savings and efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies and implement corrective actions.
