Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design and analysis for port/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, electrical safety, and IEC/local codes.
• Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools.
• Experience with SCADA and industrial control systems.
• Solid understanding of PLC programming and automation.
• Demonstrated project management skills with multiple initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with port and terminal operations is desirable.
• Experience with renewable energy systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for port terminals, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Conduct electrical audits and safety inspections to ensure IEC and local Kuwait codes compliance.
• Analyze electrical system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, designs, specifications, and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and operations teams for successful project execution.
• Monitor system performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of renewable energy solutions for port infrastructure.
