Job summary

Roche Kuwait seeks a Senior Sales Specialist for Procurement & Retail to own CGM procurement and retail performance across public and private sectors. You will lead tenders, contracts, and distributor coordination to drive in-market execution.

The role reports to the NPC Commercial Lead and requires strong experience in Kuwait/GCC public procurement, plus fluency in English and Arabic to engage diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field.
• 6–15 years in private/public procurement and retail/channel sales in medical devices, diagnostics or pharma.
• Experience with Kuwait/GCC public-sector procurement (government/MOH).
• Strong retail/channel management with pharmacy chains or distributors.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage multiple tenders.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: end-to-end CGM procurement in private and government sectors.
• Retail Sector Management: manage relationships with pharmacy chains and in-market execution.
• Tender & Contract Execution: lead tender submissions and contract follow-up.
• Distributor Coordination: coordinate with distributor's retail team for aligned execution.
• Reporting: provide regular visibility on procurement pipeline and retail performance.

The Position

The Opportunity
The Senior Sales Specialist - Procurement & Retail is a newly created role that gives the NPC team a dedicated owner for procurement and retail execution. The role manages the CGM procurement process across both the public (government/MOH) and private sectors, and owns retail sector performance, including tenders and contracts - responsibilities that previously sat, unfocused, across a flat team of peers. Reporting to the NPC Commercial Lead, this role frees the rest of the team to concentrate fully on HCP engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Manage the end-to-end CGM procurement process across both the private and government (MOH/public) sectors.
• Retail Sector Management: Own retail sector performance, including relationships with pharmacy chains and in-market retail execution.
• Tender & Contract Execution: Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders and contracts across public and private accounts.
• Distributor Coordination: Work closely with the distributor’s retail team to ensure coordinated, consistent execution across retail channels.
• Reporting: Provide the NPC Commercial Lead with regular visibility on procurement pipeline status, tender timelines, and retail performance.

Who you are

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
• 6 - 15 years of experience in private / public procurement process and retail/channel sales, ideally within medical device, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical markets.
• Demonstrated experience navigating public-sector (government/MOH) procurement processes in Kuwait or the wider GCC.
• Strong retail/channel management skills, including experience working with pharmacy chains or similar distribution partners.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage multiple concurrent tenders and retail accounts.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
