• Strong software engineering background with code understanding.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture and system design.
• Experience building or operating high-availability, low-latency systems.

• A track record of hiring and developing strong engineers.
• Genuine people management capability, not just project management experience.
• Experience making technical decisions where there isn’t always a perfect answer.
