Job summary

India Abroad in Bayan, Kuwait is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for creating authentic Indian dishes and maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.

The candidate should have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine, spices, and techniques, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be fluent in Hindi or another Indian language. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant.
• Expertise in authentic Indian dishes with strong presentation.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and techniques used in Indian cuisine.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
• Fluent in Hindi or any other Indian language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes such as curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and more
• Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented beautifully
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Manage inventory and control food costs
• Collaborate with management to create specials or themed menus for events or promotions
