Job summary

Work in USA in Kuwait seeks an experienced Indian Chef for Al Ahmadi restaurant. You will create authentic Indian dishes, lead kitchen staff, and ensure quality and safety standards.

You will plan menus, supervise cooking of curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and manage inventory while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment. English fluency preferred; Kuwaiti work permit required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred).
• Valid work permit for Kuwait (Indian nationality preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and create new dishes based on traditional Indian recipes.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and more.
• Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop promotions or special menus.
