Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of HSE experience on HV/OHL construction sites with immediate joining.

The successful candidate will implement and monitor the HSE plan, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and coordinate with client and subcontractor HSE teams to ensure compliance and safe operations across all work fronts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in HV/OHL construction projects.
• NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project HSE plan, procedures, and requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections across transmission line work fronts and sites.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness training.
• Coordinate with project management, site engineers, subcontractors, and client/consultant HSE teams.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, risk assessments, and inspection records.
