Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer for a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. You will supervise tower foundations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and HSE standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and has 5+ years of HV/OHL project experience, with hands-on knowledge of excavation, foundations, reinforcement, and site execution. Immediate joining is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in civil works for HV/OHL projects.
• Experience with transmission tower foundations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction for transmission line tower foundations.
• Coordinate excavation, foundation prep, reinforcement, formwork and concreting.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, consultants and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies or issues.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with client/consultant.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship on site.
• Track daily progress and manpower productivity.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and keep site records.
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer on progress and upcoming work.
• Ensure HSE compliance during all civil activities.
