Job summary

Confidential is seeking a skilled Payroll professional to manage end-to-end monthly Kuwait payroll and related costs. You will ensure timely, accurate payments in line with local labour laws and IFRS reporting requirements.

You will review inputs from HR and site managers, process gross-to-net calculations, run EOSB and social security computations, and coordinate with treasury for transfers. A multi-site GCC background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in payroll accounting in the GCC.
• Working knowledge of GCC labour law on EOSB, leave and notice.
• Experience in multi-site businesses is an advantage.
• Part-qualified CA, CMA, ACCA or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Kuwait payroll in ERP and review payroll for group entities.
• Collect and validate inputs: attendance, overtime, leaves, increments, allowances and deductions.
• Compute gross-to-net pay per labour law and reconcile related costs.
• Submit payroll for review and approval with supporting reports.
• Post payroll journals and prepare monthly staff cost analysis.
• Prepare WPS salary file and coordinate with Treasury for transfers.
• Maintain payroll master data and audit trails.
• Maintain confidentiality and support payroll audits.
• Reconcile petty cash and month-end closings.
