Job summary

JGulf Group in Kuwait City seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting operations in a high-volume, multi-currency environment. The role focuses on IFRS reporting, supplier/payables management for hotels and DMCs, and accurate multi-currency reconciliations.

You will oversee client receivables, bank reconciliations, budgeting support, cash flow forecasting, and margin analysis, while coordinating with external auditors and maintaining VAT/tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• B2B travel wholesale or hotel distribution background.
• Hands-on SAP experience (SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA).
• Strong IFRS and multi-currency knowledge.
• Advanced Excel.
• CPA/CMA/ACCA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full accounting cycle.
• Preparing monthly financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Overseeing supplier payables to hotels, DMCs and bed banks.
