Job summary

Trading & Contracting Group in Kuwait seeks an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to lead core accounting and financial reporting functions in the finance team. The role requires strong AR, AP, GL, and ERP expertise to support month-end close and auditing processes.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of accounting experience in Kuwait or GCC markets, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks/Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience in Kuwait or GCC markets.
• Strong expertise in AR, AP, GL, Financial Reporting, Bank Reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Nested Formulas, Financial Analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Bilingual English & Arabic skills are an advantage.
• Transferable Article 18 or 22 Residency.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, billing processes, collections, and debtor reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, invoice verification, and vendor payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and perform periodic asset verification.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Prepare: Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist auditors by providing schedules and supporting documentation.
