Job summary

GE Vernova FieldCore seeks a Senior IV Field Services Engineer to manage site activities, plan resources, and coordinate installation, maintenance, and upgrades at customer power facilities. You will drive safety compliance, client satisfaction, and timely reporting.

You will lead technicians, mentor teammates, and respond to outages with proactive planning and hands-on expertise, including after-hours and holidays when required.

Qualifications

• Technical/University degree or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years in Field Services.
• 8+ years experience in field services or power generation equipment maintenance.
• Successful completion of Level IV training programs.
• Strong ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams, dial and laser alignment, and thermal growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site activities.
• Install systems and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repairs and service requests.
• Provide technical instruction to customer staff regarding installation and operation.
• Prepare technical reports, material orders, quotations, and job status reports.
• Ensure parts are shipped to site and perform site walk-downs.
