Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer to develop and manage construction and completions capability across PMC projects, ensuring design integrity while executing per Field Contract. Lead a team and coordinate heavy lifting, Earth moving activities, and commissioning phases.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 10+ years total experience, and at least 5 years in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors, with proven leadership and project execution skills in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years total experience post graduate studies.
• 5+ years in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
• 5+ years as Lead Construction Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive construction involvement in design, schedule, execution planning, and cost estimating.
• Develop awareness of workload of Construction’s support providers/contractors.
• Maintain functional responsibility for construction and completions personnel.
• Demonstrate technical competence of construction personnel.
• Forecast requirements for construction engineering resources and allocate them.
• Prepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.
• Promote cost reduction and productivity initiatives.
• Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project basis.
