Job summary

Worley seeks an experienced Projects Manager to lead the delivery of multiple PMC projects, ensuring safe, predictable outcomes across FEED through commissioning. You will oversee governance, budgets, and schedules while steering multidisciplinary teams and maintaining client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 20+ years in engineering/project delivery, with 10+ years in oil & gas or energy sectors, plus proven leadership of major capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognised and accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of post‑graduate experience in engineering, project management, or project delivery.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, or energy sectors.
• Demonstrated experience leading major capital projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including projects with individual values exceeding US$500 million.
• Proven experience in engineering design, project execution, and PMC environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple large-scale PMC projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Worley standards.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership throughout project development, execution, commissioning, and close-out.
• Ensure effective implementation of project management processes, systems, and governance requirements.
• Foster a high-performance project culture focused on safety, delivery excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive proactive decision-making and problem-solving to achieve project objectives.
• Champion a strong safety culture and demonstrate visible HSE leadership across all project activities.
• Ensure HSE requirements are effectively communicated, understood, and implemented by all project participants.
• Promote compliance with Worley, client, and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Maintain a continual focus on risk prevention and safe project execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensure a clear understanding of client objectives and deliver outcomes that meet or exceed expectations.
• Lead engagement with client representatives, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively address scope, performance, cost, and schedule challenges to maintain project success.
• Support long-term client relationships through consistent delivery and value creation.
• Ensure effective administration of client and subcontract agreements.
• Deliver projects in line with approved budgets and targeted gross margins.
