Job summary

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and explain menu items accurately.
• Upsell additional products where appropriate to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials and ingredients to answer guest questions.

Responsibilities

• Present menus and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and potential allergies.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Inform customers about day’s specials and offer recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders using a POS system and order slips.
• Ensure ID checks for alcohol service and communicate orders to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks, check presentation, and maintain a clean dining area.
• Deliver checks and process payments; escort dirty dishes to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Collaborate with staff to review daily specials and reservations.
