Job summary

Gold Overseas Pvt. Ltd. in Kuwait is seeking a friendly waiter/waitress to join our service team.

You will warmly welcome guests, take orders, serve dishes and beverages, handle payments, and help maintain a clean dining area. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior hospitality experience is a plus, but training will be provided to ensure smooth restaurant

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or waiter/waitress roles is a plus but entry-level candidates willing to learn are welcome to apply.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
• Ability to handle cash transactions, make change, and process digital payments accurately.

• Neat and clean appearance in accordance with restaurant dress code and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Warmly welcome guests, seat them comfortably, and present menus.
• Order Taking: Answer questions about menu items, record orders using the POS system.
• Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve dishes and drinks promptly and accurately.
• Table Maintenance: Check guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and clear tables as needed.
• Billing & Payments: Prepare checks and process cash or card payments.
• Side Work & Sanitation: Assist with pre-shift setup and post-shift cleanup, stocking stations, and maintaining dining area cleanliness.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and service staff for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Warmly welcome guests, seat them comfortably, and present food and drink menus.
• Order Taking: Answer questions about menu items, make recommendations, and accurately record food and beverage orders using our POS (Point of Sale) system or order pads.
• Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring orders match guest specifications and table arrangements are correct.
• Table Maintenance: Monitor tables throughout the meal, check in on guest satisfaction, refill water/drinks, and clear dirty plates and glassware in a timely manner.
• Billing & Payments: Prepare checks, accept cash or card payments, and process transactions accurately.
• Side Work & Sanitation: Help with pre-shift setup and post-shift cleanup, including rolling silverware, wiping down tables and chairs, stocking service stations, and keeping the dining area clean and organized.
• Teamwork: Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and bus service to ensure smooth, efficient restaurant flow.
