Job summary

Core for Infrastructure Works Co. W.L.L by Al Nisf Group is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement for pumps, valves, piping, tanks, and MEP packages in Kuwait.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering procurement and 3+ years in water, process, wastewater, or MEP packages with strong supplier coordination and Excel/ERP skills. In-person work location in Kuwait, with collaboration across Engineering, Projects, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to meet project timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical/Process Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Procurement.
• Minimum 3 years handling Water, Process, Wastewater, or MEP packages.
• Experience in procuring water/wastewater treatment equipment or MEP materials.
• Strong experience in pump, valve, piping, or treatment-equipment procurement.
• Experience in quotation comparison, technical evaluation coordination, and supplier expediting.
• Ability to read and understand equipment datasheets, material schedules, and process drawings.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP skills.
• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Strong English communication and supplier coordination skills.
• Experience in expediting project deliveries is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for pumps, valves, piping, tanks, chemical-dosing equipment, and MEP packages.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to approved suppliers.
• Obtain supplier clarifications and prepare commercial comparisons against approved specifications.
• Coordinate technical evaluations with Engineering teams.
• Support supplier negotiations and purchase orders under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
• Review supplier quotations, technical documents, and compliance with project requirements.
• Expedite supplier drawings, manufacturing, inspections, and deliveries.
• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier communications, and tracking reports.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve procurement issues.
