Job summary

Guildhall is seeking a Contracts Manager to take full contract administration ownership of a major wastewater treatment plant project in Kuwait and the GCC. You will lead variations, change orders, EOT claims, and end-to-end administration under the main contract and all subcontract agreements.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Contracts & Procurement and Senior PM, you will shape contract administration procedures and negotiate extensions to keep milestones on track and ensure timely

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; LLM preferred.
  • 12–15 years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, claims, and negotiation on large EPC, infrastructure or utilities projects.
  • Experience with wastewater treatment plants, utilities and large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in main contractor and client-side environments is advantageous.
  • RICS MRICS or MCIArb certifications are an advantage.
  • FIDIC Contract Manager certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and process works in WWTP or similar projects.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC 1999/2017 editions.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and claims preparation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
  • English fluency; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Own full contract administration for a large wastewater treatment plant project.
  • Lead variations, change orders, and compensation event administration end-to-end.
  • Prepare and negotiate Extension of Time prolongation and disruption claims.
  • Review and certify subcontractor payment applications and final accounts.
  • Administer the main contract and all subcontract agreements during delivery.
  • Report to Director of Commercial Contracts & Procurement and Senior PM.

  • Educational Qualification Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering LLM is preferred

  • Minimum 12 15 years of experience in contract administration commercial management claims and contract negotiation on large EPC infrastructure or utilities projects

  • Experience working with both main contractor and client-side environments is an advantage

  • Professional Certifications in RICS Membership MRICS MCIArb or other relevant professional certifications are an advantage

  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills

  • Fluent in English written and spoken Arabic language skills are an advantage
