Job summary

Amentum seeks a Field Site Supervisor to lead Operations & Sustainment (O&M) for the PSS-T aerostat program at CONUS and OCONUS sites. You will supervise site O&M staff and act as the primary customer interface, directing aerostat mission operations and crew for launches, flights, recoveries and mooring.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical/aviation field, 5 years of O&M leadership experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or aviation-related field or equivalent experience.
Five years in technical or aviation field operations & maintenance with leadership experience.
Must hold a valid driver’s license & active Secret US Government Clearance.
Passport valid for at least 6 months (prefer 1 year); willingness to deploy overseas.

Responsibilities

Lead site O&M staff for safe and efficient operation of the aerostat program.
Direct aerostat mission operations including launch, flight, recovery and mooring activities.
Coordinate flight operations and maintenance with customer and on-site personnel.
Prepare reports on operational status, flight time, maintenance and logistics issues.
Identify and resolve technical problems, interface with customer and personnel.
