Amentum seeks Aerostat Operators for O&S support on PSS-T programs in CONUS/OCONUS locations. You will participate in launch, flight, recovery, and moored operations of aerostat systems and associated payloads and support equipment.

The role requires security clearance, technical maintenance skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments with extended deployment. Willingness to deploy to CENTCOM/EUCOM/AFRICOM is expected.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in a technical field can substitute for work experience.
At least 1 year aerostat experience or 2 years in specialized disciplines may substitute.
Active Secret US government clearance required (US citizenship).
Passport valid for 6+ months and US Driver’s license required.
Knowledge of hardware systems and components operations.
Ability to read electronic schematics and diagnose hardware.

Mansioni

Participate in hands-on operation of the aerostat system including launch, flight, recovery, and moored activities.
Operate PGSS/PTDS, MMP, payloads, communications and navigation systems and related equipment.
Perform PMCS, troubleshooting, remove/replace LRUs and payloads.
Adapt to new tasks under supervision of higher classified technicians and site personnel.
