Job summary

Boeing is seeking a C-17 Product Repair/Mod Technician to support the Kuwait Air Force mission at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. The role covers on-site maintenance, fault diagnosis, and component replacement for day-to-day operations of the C-17 Globemaster III.

Responsibilities include disassembly/assembly, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring flight-worthiness, with opportunities for training and leadership within the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C-17 maintenance experience.
• Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of Kuwait.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US citizenship) and interim/final clearance post-start.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly, disassembly, and modification of aerospace systems to repair or upgrade components.
• Oversee engineering and overhaul processes for C-17 aircraft.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Direct troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate faults and perform repairs.
• Document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
