Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a C-17 Support Equipment (SE) Technician to coordinate maintenance and calibration of Kuwait Air Force SE in support of C-17 Field Services based at Al-Mubarak Air Base. The role requires relocation to Kuwait and will involve defining procedures, tooling, and material requirements for inspections, modifications and repairs.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, supporting engineering with improvements, and maintaining equipment status records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience maintaining Ground Support Equipment for USAF or Boeing aircraft.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults and perform complex functional tests.
• Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate C-17 SE maintenance requirements and plan repair solutions.
• Define procedures, tooling, kit requirements, work packages, and material requirements for inspections and repairs.
• Plan and coordinate modifications, maintenance, and repair of enterprise products; assist engineering in improvements.
• Assist in SE maintenance, calibration, proof load tests, and repairs per customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Review and recommend projects or aircraft SE modifications; monitor risks and take corrective action.
• Maintain database records for equipment status and spare parts; train less experienced technicians.
• Work under general direction.
