Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuwait is seeking a Kitchen Administration & Coordination professional to support the Executive Chef and culinary team. You will handle daily administrative tasks, maintain records, coordinate meetings, and assist with rosters and HR-related requirements.

This role covers purchasing, inventory, food safety documentation, and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations, cost control, guest experience support, and compliance with hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen admin and coordination in hotel settings.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Familiar with HACCP, food safety documentation is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Culinary team.
• Prepare and maintain kitchen correspondence, reports, records, forms, notices and other departmental documentation.
• Maintain an organized filing system for Culinary department records, ensuring documents are complete and easy to retrieve.
• Coordinate departmental meetings, briefings and appointments and assist in preparing meeting notes when required.
• Prepare and update kitchen duty rosters, attendance records and leave schedules.
• Coordinate with Human Resources regarding attendance, leave, public holidays, training and other HR-related requirements.
