Job summary

Alghanim Industries in Kuwait seeks an IT Lead - PMO to ensure that digital projects are planned, delivered, and governed effectively. The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders from business, IT, vendors and delivery partners.

You will work closely with product management and technology teams, lead project plans, provide forward-looking estimates, and drive execution across the software development and deployment lifecycle while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• PM, PRINCE2 or other project management certification preferred.
• Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex, product-oriented technology projects.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple teams, stakeholders, and products.
• Proficient with MS Project, Jira, Asana or similar.
• Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Provide day-to-day planning, coordination, and project management across the entirety of the software development and deployment life cycle
• Act as an owner, be solution-focused, analytical and drive projects from initiation to success
• Provide the project team with direction and vision, motivate individuals to perform, provide feedback, recognize strengths and provide challenges
• This is a highly visible position that will partner heavily with multiple business and technology teams and interact at all levels of the company
• Work closely with the product management team in full synergy to ensure that large scale projects are delivered on time and up to expectations.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized Project Management certification is preferred.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and large-scale software systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex, product-oriented technology projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with SAP and/or other enterprise ERP systems.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering projects within agreed timelines.
• Strong planning skills with the ability to provide realistic effort estimates and drive project execution through to completion.
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
