Job summary

Alghanim Industries is seeking an IT Specialist - PMO to lead project management across the Digital portfolio. The role focuses on delivering complex software initiatives on-site in Kuwait with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PMO leadership, PMP/PRINCE2, hands-on software experience, and proficiency with MS Project, Jira and SAP ERP, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or other recognized Project Management certification is preferred.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and large-scale software systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex, product-oriented technology projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with SAP and/or other enterprise ERP systems.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering projects within agreed timelines.
• Strong planning skills with the ability to provide realistic effort estimates and drive project execution through to completion.
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage large technical projects, define project plans, set priorities, manage resources and report on process, progress and results.
• Provide day-to-day planning, coordination, and project management across the entirety of the software development and deployment life cycle.
• Act as an owner, be solution-focused, analytical and drive projects from initiation to success.
• Provide the project team with direction and vision, motivate individuals to perform, provide feedback, recognize strengths and provide challenges.
• This is a highly visible position that will partner heavily with multiple business and technology teams and interact at all levels of the company.
• Work closely with the product management team in full synergy to ensure that large scale projects are delivered on time and up to expectations.
