Job summary

Alghanim Industries in Kuwait City seeks an IT Lead - PMO to ensure projects in the Digital portfolio are managed and delivered effectively. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and coordination across business and IT teams.

You will work with product management, vendors, and delivery partners, driving initiatives from initiation to completion, with data-driven decision making and robust planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• PMP / PRINCE2 or other recognized PM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex, product-oriented technology projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decisions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage large technical projects, define plans, set priorities, manage resources and report on progress and results.
• Provide day-to-day planning, coordination across the software development and deployment life cycle.
• Own projects from initiation to successful delivery with a solution-focused approach.

Job Summary

Job Summary The role of an IT Lead - PMO is one that requires an understanding of project management, organizational leadership and communication skills. The individual’s primary goal is to ensure that all projects assigned, within Digital portfolio are being managed and delivered effectively. This individual will have outstanding communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a genuine passion for retail. Strong presentation skills are required, as well as the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders from business teams, IT teams, external vendors and delivery partners.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage large technical projects, define project plans, set priorities, manage resources and report on process, progress and results
• Provide day-to-day planning, coordination, and project management across the entirety of the software development and deployment life cycle
• Act as an owner, be solution-focused, analytical and drive projects from initiation to success
• Provide the project team with direction and vision, motivate individuals to perform, provide feedback, recognize strengths and provide challenges
• This is a highly visible position that will partner heavily with multiple business and technology teams and interact at all levels of the company
• Work closely with the product management team in full synergy to ensure that large scale projects are delivered on time and up to expectations.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized Project Management certification is preferred. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and large-scale software systems. Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex, product-oriented technology projects. Proven experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms. Experience working with SAP and/or other enterprise ERP systems. Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering projects within agreed timelines. Strong planning skills with the ability to provide realistic effort estimates and drive project execution through to completion. Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
