Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Kuwait is seeking an HR professional to manage visa processing, residence matters, onboarding and staff documentation. You will ensure compliance with local laws, maintain accurate employee records and act as the main point of contact for HR queries.

The role also supports recruitment activities, policy updates and staff welfare initiatives, requiring strong organization and discretion to handle sensitive information diligently.

Responsibilities

• Process all types of visas including employment visas and residence visas for employees and entertainers.
• Maintain and renew registrations for hotel vehicles.
• Keep HR advised of changes to laws, forms, formats and procedures.
• Submit documents to immigration/labour office and manage cancelled/absconding employees on sponsorship lists.
• Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after visa cancellation.
• Obtain quarterly sponsorship reports and reconcile with immigration/labour office with supporting documents.
• Support IHG working culture by promoting Winning Ways: Do the Right Thing, Show We Care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Difference and Work Better Together.
• Read, understand and implement relevant sections of the FLS Policy; report accidents or hazards to supervisor.
• Participate in hotel initiatives and events and support staff welfare activities.
• Maintain all employee files and HR paperwork accurately and timely; serve as main HR contact for staff queries.
