Job summary

V2X is seeking a Firefighter to respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, and conduct inspections in Kuwait. The role requires adherence to NFPA standards, proficiency with pumps and protective gear, and participation in ongoing training.

You will work under the Fire Officer, wear PPE, and contribute to mission readiness. Candidate must have DoD certifications and at least one year of related experience, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass annual firefighter Occupations Health Exam and SCBA Fit Testing IAW NFPA 1582 and 1583.
• Must be available for recall.
• Minimum one year of firefighting experience on a DoD installation preferred.
• Must meet position certifications IAW DoD Manual 6055.06.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a positive team member and adheres to the WEXMAC contract Performance Work Statement.
• Maintains safety as the highest priority and ensures a safe workplace.
• Ensures emergency equipment is operational and ready per NFPA or industry standards.
• Performs fire inspections, pre-incident planning, and documents facilities and operations.
• Operates fire pumps, vehicles, and communications equipment as part of the team.
• Supports logistics and administrative tasks to track equipment and readiness.
• Contributes to training and drill activities to maintain certifications and readiness.
