Job summary

V2X Inc. in Kuwait is seeking a Firefighter/EMT to perform specialized duty work in preparing for and responding to fire/medical emergencies and safely transporting patients to hospitals or clinics.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, EMT certification, and two years of emergency ambulance experience, with a focus on safety, readiness, and effective communication under dynamic conditions.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Two years of emergency response ambulance experience.
• Active EMT certification and related licenses.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency calls, provides support to the Paramedic per EMS protocols, and assists other members of the department.
• Provide support to the Paramedic for immediate care to the critically ill and injured and transports the patient to the designated ambulance transfer.
• Provide pre-hospital emergency medical care of simple and multiple systems.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment in a serviceable and ready condition.
• Participates in CME and training activities, both as an instructor and as a student.
• Communicates effectively in writing, verbally and over the radio or telephone.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Fire Chief or designee.
• Complies with all applicable rules and SOPs as directed by leadership.
