Job summary

V2X Inc in Kuwait is seeking a Fire Lieutenant to lead a firefighting crew on one apparatus. The position requires directing firefighting activities, training the crew, and ensuring compliance with NFPA and DoD standards.

Candidates must hold Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I or equivalent, with EMT preferred; two years of paid firefighting experience and DoD certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with two years of full-time firefighting experience.
• DoD Manual 6055.06 training and certification requirements.
• IFSAC/Pro-Board/DoD certifications: Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, D/O Pumper, D/O ARFF, D/O MWS, D/O Aerial.
• HazMat Technician and ARFF certifications preferred, EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in firefighting activities and crew leadership at scene.
• Lead drills, training classes, and inspections for the assigned crew.
• Prepare reports on runs, training, inspections, and other topics.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 1582 and NFPA 1500; maintain physical fitness.
• Conduct fire safety training and public education; communicate in English.
