Job summary

V2X in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Supervisor to implement the LOGCAP V Fire Protection Plan and lead firefighting, rescue and hazmat operations. You will direct crews, ensure compliance with NFPA and safety policies, and coordinate emergency responses while maintaining documentation and training standards.

The role requires a valid US and host nation driver’s license, 5 years in fire service, and multiple certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain US Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree in Fire Science preferred.
• Fire service certifications as listed in the posting (Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Hazmat Operations, Incident Commander, etc.).
• Requires 5 years of experience in an organized Fire or Emergency Service Department; 2 years at Company Officer level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements fire protection programs conforming to the Performance Work Statement and maintains a safe workplace.
• Conducts fire inspections and records documentation; operates fire alarm and comms equipment; assists with logistics and administrative duties.
• Leads firefighting operations, rescue, hazmat responses; serves as team leader for various apparatus; directs operations under ICS.
• Supervises firefighters; trains and orients staff; tracks metrics and supports program goals.
• Communicates effectively in writing and speech with subordinates and management; participates in meetings.
• Works to achieve LOGCAP goals and PWS commitments; performs other duties as required.
