Career Raiser is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations in Kuwait and Iraq, leading the achievement of business targets and objectives. You will drive manpower, operations, and sales/marketing strategy while maintaining key relationships with accounts and government offices.

The role requires extensive naval port/logistics experience, senior management expertise, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• University qualification in a related field.
• Experience in naval port/logistics operations.
• 10+ years in naval environment or logistics, with 5+ years in a senior management role.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent public relations, business acumen, and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and people management skills.
• GCC experience in Kuwait or Iraq in a senior management position.

As the General Manager you will oversee all aspects of the country's operations and will be leading the achievement of all business targets and objectives.

Your role as the General Manager will also include:

• Managing manpower, operations and sales and marketing strategy within Kuwait and Iraq
• Making sound decisions for the business to render excellent quality services within the region
• Developing plans and strategies that are aimed at enhancing operations and workforce performance
• Maintaining high level relationships with key accounts as well as local government and embassy offices
• Ensuring that the country operations adhere to the business global policies
• Driving the productivity and revenue generation through maintenance of existing accounts and identifying new business development opportunities within the assigned countries

Requirements

To qualify for the General Manager role, you must have the following skills and experience:

• University qualification within a related field
• Experience and competency in handling naval port/logistics operations
• At least 10 years of experience within naval environment or logistics industry, with 5 years spent within a senior management role
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent public relation skills, business acumen, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen and people management skills
• Ideally with GCC experience in Kuwait or Iraq within a senior management position
