Job summary

Christie’s Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Kuwait. The successful candidate will lead a large team, drive exceptional guest experiences and support the roll-out of brand initiatives in the region.

You will mentor staff, manage operations and ensure high standards of service across all shifts. The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a hands-on approach to restaurant management, including hosting, hosting, and ensuring food safety and hygiene

Qualifications

• Ability to delegate and lead a team of 100+ individuals
• Problem solve and handle high-stress situations
• Extensive knowledge of financial reports
• Effective communicator
• Strong leadership and people management
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant at all times
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff and managers
• Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
• Hands-on supervision across restaurant operations including hosting, serving, and cooking when needed
• Manage inventory and daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling
• 3+ years as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in full service concept
• Ensure cost handling and till procedures are accurate and policy-compliant
• Enforce health & safety, food hygiene and local legislation at all times
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment

As an Assistant General Manager you will be the individual who is ready to make a mark in this upmarket company in Kuwait where, the team are passionate and hardworking. You will thrive on creating relationships with guests and developing your team.

Responsibilities:

This role will see you report to the Restaurant Manager. Furthermore the Assistant General Manager will have style and flair, someone who thinks outside of the box, and delivers 1st class service at all time by knowing the regulars. You will have an important role in the successful operations of the brand as it is introduced to the region and on training program provides numerous opportunities for career growth those employees to take their initiative to excel at the job.

Skills and Experience:

• 3 years or more as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a full service restaurant concept.
• Ensure cost handling & till point procedures is handled with accuracy & as per policy.
• Ensures implementation of health & safety , food hygiene & Local legislation at all times of operations
• Ensure all company policies & procedures are adhered to.
• The ability of multi tasks in a high pressure environment.
