Job summary

Zaragoza Maintenance & Engineering in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, is seeking a Fuel Refinery Systems IT Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure and industrial systems within refinery operations.

The role focuses on reliable system performance, cybersecurity compliance, and seamless integration between refinery control systems and enterprise technologies to keep critical processes running safely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT systems, industrial networks, or refinery operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and cybersecurity practices.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems, SCADA, DCS, or refinery operational technologies.
• Knowledge of database management and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support refinery IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and industrial systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure continuous refinery operations.
• Support refinery control systems, databases, and OT environments.
