Job summary

Hyneio is looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Specialist to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud-based solutions on site in Kuwait. The successful candidate will work with internal teams to ensure secure, reliable, scalable infrastructure aligned with business requirements.

The role involves working with Azure, AWS or GCP, automating with IaC tools, and applying security best practices while supporting migrations and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE/Cloud computing or related field.
• 3+ years in cloud computing or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Azure or AWS (GCP preferred).
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DR concepts.
• Strong networking: TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing.
• IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Security controls, IAM, MFA, monitoring.
• Clear communication and teamwork.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. This role is ideal for a cloud professional with practical experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure, networking, security, and automation who can translate technical requirements into effective and sustainable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
• Develop and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Manage cloud resources across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Support cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, implementation, and optimization.
• Configure and manage cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, and access-management services.
• Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including access controls, encryption, MFA, and security monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or cloud-native automation.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions.
• Monitor cloud usage and help identify opportunities for performance and cost optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.
• Experience with cloud identity and access management, security controls, and permissions.
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• A relevant cloud certification such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Google Cloud certification or an equivalent industry certification.
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and cloud compliance requirements.
• Experience with databases, serverless technologies, or cloud-native application architectures.
