Job summary

V2X Inc in Kuwait City is seeking a Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief to lead Fire Station daily operations, ensure readiness, train personnel, and coordinate fire safety inspections in support of DoD requirements.

The role requires five years of Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief experience, DoD program knowledge, and DoD certifications, with U.S. citizenship and a valid driver’s license. Expect to work in extreme conditions and adhere to PWS and FIRS reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Fire Management) with diploma or transcripts.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Kuwait Heavy Duty Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Selects and guides firefighters to perform as expected when called upon and will continually assess their readiness and performance.
Maintains daily awareness of fire inspections, fire services, inspection and testing of fire protection and alarm systems, firefighter training, and fire drills.
Completes the requirements in the PWS and IAW DoD regulations.
Submits all fire and rescue incident data using Fire Incident Reporting System (FIRS) software.
Responsible for Fire Station daily operations to ensure personnel are well-trained and capable to perform their duties effectively and on short notice.
