The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree, proven executive-chef experience in a high-end restaurant, strong cost-management skills, and the ability to mentor staff and maintain inventory and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-quality restaurant setting.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques/methods/cuisines and advanced baking skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and lead by example.
• Great organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the culinary team in creating innovative dishes reflecting the restaurant's quality.
• Develop strategies to reduce food costs while maintaining quality.
• Develop comprehensive menus according to customer preferences.
• Oversee ingredient selection, preparation methods, portions, presentation, and recipes.
• Monitor staff performance daily and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment according to safety regulations.
• Follow health codes and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for food supplies.
