Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to monitor security events, investigate incidents, and develop robust DCO measures. Strong scripting, system and network security expertise are essential, as is experience with SIEM and threat intelligence.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI and compliance with DoD 8570.01M. Company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field; DoD 8570.01M compliance required.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI.
• Five years of practical experience in data and security tech, with 2+ years in cyber threats and SIEM analysis.
• Maintain at least one BE and one CE certification; CE and BE certifications cannot be duplicated.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and correlate events for potential threat activity using SIEM and analytics.
• Investigate causes, sources, and methods of compromises or incidents.
• Initiate incident handling to isolate and investigate network information system compromises.
• Develop and refine TTPs; prepare formal reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external organizations on threat intelligence.
