Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced Incident Response Analyst to defend against cyber threats and coordinate rapid containment and remediation. You will investigate security incidents using digital forensics, identify root causes, and prepare comprehensive reports for technical and executive audiences.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, threat hunting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen defenses and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI is required.
• DoD 8570.01M baseline and CE certifications must be maintained.
• At least five years of experience in data, network, and security analysis.
• Experience with customer-service oriented environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs to detect incidents and triage severity.
• Perform digital forensics and investigate security incidents.
• Contain and eradicate threats across systems and networks.
• Produce incident reports and post-incident analyses.
• Collaborate with IT, security operations, legal, and management.
