Job summary

V2X is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst for the Defensive Cyber Operations division. You will design, implement, automate, maintain, and optimize measures protecting systems, networks, and information, with emphasis on SIEM analysis, incident response, and threat intelligence.

Applicants must hold active Top Secret Clearance with SCI, have strong scripting abilities and experience with security administration; company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• Requires active Top Secret Clearance with SCI.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• Adherence to DoD 8570.01M and maintenance of baseline CE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and correlate events for potential threat activity using SIEM systems and analytics.
• Investigate the cause, source, and methodology of compromises or incidents.
• Initiate incident handling procedures to isolate and investigate potential compromises.
• Develop and refine Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) for defense.
• Prepare formal reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve DCO posture.
