Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join the Defensive Cyber Operations team. You will design, implement, automate, and optimize measures protecting systems, networks, and information from cyber threats.

The role requires strong scripting and systems security administration, plus network security experience, with Top Secret clearance. The position offers housing and transportation, a completion bonus and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• DoD 8570.01M compliance required or expected.
• Maintain baseline CE certifications and one additional CE cert.
• At least five years in data/network security with threat analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and correlate events using SIEM and analytics.
• Investigate causes of compromises or incidents and report findings.
• Initiate incident handling to isolate and investigate NSP/IS incidents.
• Perform trend analysis to identify evolving threats and risks.
• Develop TTPs and share threat intelligence with teams and partners.
• Collaborate on improving DCO strategies and defenses.
• Assist in incident response planning and execution.
